Pacifico, better known to his friends and fellow designers as Pico, believes that good floral work is an important part of any special event or celebration. In a wedding, it magnifies that great sense of romance, and creates a dream like quality, almost fairy tale like atmosphere to cherish forever. It also gives corporate parties the essential sophistication, prestige and image that leave a good and lasting impression on its guests and business associates.Pico won first prize in a Floral Design Competition at the "San Francisco Flower and Garden Show" held at the Cow Palace, placed second in a wedding bouquet competition for the Mount Eden Cup, senior division and third in a "Flowers to Carry" category and 5th overall of 45 at the "American Institute of Floral Designer's Design competition" held at the Marriott Hotel in San Francisco. He also participated and has earned great reviews for his design work at the annual Filoli Spring Show "Bouquet to Arts" at the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco, "Holiday on a high note", a fund raiser by the Foothill auxiliary held at Circus Club and has been a recurrent guest designer to a wedding floral class at the College of San Mateo. " I think of my work as both a privilege and a big responsibility. I feel that being a part in making someone's special day beautiful and memorable is a great opportunity, a big opportunity to express my self artistically and hopefully give the couple and their guest an experience they will not soon forget. At the same time, I am fully aware that this is a one shot deal that requires complete and detailed attention.
